I know I posted some of the Sarnia Canada Day info a few days ago, but the Fox FM has this wonderful schedule of events that I wanted to share!

Monday, July 1, 2013

11:30am – Canada Day Parade

12:00pm – Displays Open (Arts/Food/Souvenir)

12:30 – 1:30pm – Lambton Concert Band
(at the bandshell)

1:00pm – Jump & Slide Activities / Train Rides (hosted by Tom Scott)

1:30pm – Bandshell Opening Ceremonies
– Singing of O Canada
– Prayer by Rev. Canon Nick Wells
– Parade winners announced
– Birthday cake (served by Heritage Team)

On Stage
2:00pm – The Silly People
2:30pm – Q-Mack and J-Box Beatbox Basketball Skills
3:00pm – Steven the Great
3:30pm – D.O. Gibson (Canadian rapper)

In The Field
2:00pm – Billions Cobra Comedy Show
2:30pm – Dynamic Academy of Martial Arts
3:00pm – The Silly People
3:30pm – Billions Cobra Comedy Show

On The Big Stage
5:00pm – Steadfast
6:15pm – D.O. Gibson
7:30pm – Rumblefish
8:45pm – 3rd Wave

10:00pm – Musical Fireworks
Music will be broadcast simultaneously on 103.9, 99.9 and 106.3 – Bring your radio.

Parking/Shuttle Service

Sarnia Transit will operate a special service on July 1, 2013 from 8:30am – 11:30pm.

Shuttles will run from:
Bayside Mall, Northgate Plaza, and The Superstore. Also routes 5 & 7 in the north end will take you to Canatara Park.

Cost is only $1.00 per person (babes in arms ride free)

Cash and tickets only please (Passes not accepted).

Parade

The parade starts at Lakeshore/Colborne Road and goes to Canatara Park

Bike Corral

The Bluewater Trails Committee wants to encourage you to ride your bike to the Canada Day events. A bike corral will be available for your use.

Enjoy all the Canada Day activities and know that your bike is secure.
