Family Day Flags

Join us for some Family Day fun at the gallery!
Families will create their own family flags by visiting multiple stations throughout the gallery. With inspiration from our new exhibitions, you will design patches using block printing, silk-screening, and mono-printing before joining the patches together into a flag that you can hang high!
The whole family can work together or create their own. The activities are adjustable to suit all ages; this is a great activity for children and teens, and also a lot of fun for parents!
Use our ‘passport’ to make sure you don’t miss an activity. If you complete all of the stations, you can enter your passport in our draw to win a prize!
It will take about an hour to visit each station and complete your flag. Snacks and juice will be available.
As a special bonus:
Family Friendly Tours will be offered throughout the day. Each tour only lasts 10- 15 minutes and are a great introduction to exploring the exhibitions in more depth on your own. The tours will begin at 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm, and are free to attend as well.
