Swimming


There are several programs for parent and tot swimming in and around Sarnia. Swimming is not only a great opportunity to have fun and get exercise but it is a very social activity and a great way to make friends! 1) YMCA of Sarnia-Lambton Jerry McCaw Family Centre
  • Parent & Tot Drop-In Program (Ages 3 – 36 months): Join us for an instructor led class full of games and activities where your child will learn how to move around and become more comfortable in the water.
    Tuesday: 11:00-11:30am Members: No Charge / Non-members: Activity Pass ($5)
  • Parent & Tot Open Swim:  Sunday – Friday from 10:30am – 12:00pm

2) Pathways

The Parent and Tot Swim Program is a rewarding water experience for mom or dad with young children. It introduces infants and toddlers to the joys of water activities in a relaxing and warm environment. It’s about helping your child feel comfortable in the water while promoting water safety. The program is open to children ages 3 months – 3 years old, with or without a disability. There are 5 – 10 children per class
with one parent in the pool with each child. Registration Months: September, December, March & June. $50.

3) Oil Heritage District Community Centre (Petrolia)

Diaper Fit & Lesson program is an exercise program in the pool where moms get a full body workout while their babies sit in a dolphin boat, relax and float around. Call 519-882-2232 for registration and pricing information!
