DeGroot’s Easter Egg Hunt 2019

I am so excited about this! DeGroot’s Easter Egg hunt has always been an annual fav for me. It’s it a lot more casual than the city’s Easter in The Park which can be crazy busy…. so nice! Previously, I believe it was actually hosted by or done in conjunction with the Inn of the Good Shepherd as a fundraising event but then skipped a year. Looks like this year it is DeGroot’s just being DeGroot’s which = AWESOME. Such an amazing contributor to our community in so many ways. If you go, make sure to visit the resident cat and turtles and take a look around for your spring planting ideas 🌼

How to Dye Easter Eggs Naturally

I have been looking at a trillion Easter ideas from the amazing Good Housekeeping website and came across an idea that I am going to try this year! Instead of buying a decorating kit, I am going to try out some natural food dyes! Have you ever done this? If so, leave a comment and let me know what you find works best!

CANstruction 2019

CANstruction 2019 will take place in Lambton Mall from March 23rd to April 9th!

Groups from local companies, schools, and community groups will spend the day building structures based around this year’s theme: cartoons—built entirely of cans.
